PUBG Mobile gets Sanhok map; brings new weapons and more

PUBG Mobile has just received the Sanhok map 0.8.0 update which was launched by Tencent Games for PUBG Mobile, a couple of days back. The Sanhok map update is one of the biggest updates that PUBG Mobile has ever received and it is so huge that Tencent integrated the new Sanhok map during its scheduled maintenance downtime.
With the Sanhok map update, PUBG Mobile players now have three maps to choose from namely Erangel, Miramar and Sanhok. It should also be noted that the Sanhok map offers less area, almost half of the other two maps, which means that the concentration of players in this map will be higher than usual. Sanhok map will also need 100 players to start a game, however, with more concentration of players, it will result in shorter game time and more adrenaline for the players.

The new PUBG Mobile Sanhok map is now available for Android and iOS devices while its download size 1.5GB on Google Play and 2GB on the App Store. Here we take a look at what are all the new features that the Sanhok map update has brought to PUBG.

Sanhok map comes with a host of new weapons and vehicles which includes the Flare Gun, Muscle Car, Bulletproof UAZ and QBZ.
PUBG Mobile will have improved recognition for cheating plug-ins while there will also be added report buttons to Basic Information, Results screens, and Spectator Mode.
Season page of PUBG Mobile will now show all seasons player as well as relevant data which includes titles, highest tier reached and more such information.
Players will also see some improvements in the chat system, clan rankings, friends list, air drop items and more.

Meanwhile, Tencent Games has just released a statement highlighting that PUBG Mobile has already achieved the milestone of 20 million daily active users in just six months of its launch and the numbers don’t even include players from Japan, Korea, and China. It was also revealed that 864,425,575 chicken dinners were earned by over 130 million users across 200 countries worldwide.
